Precautionary sirens blared in Rajasthan's Barmer amid complete blackout on Sunday.
"INCOMING DRONES ACTIVITY SPOTTED* Pls stay inside your houses and observe blackout," Barmer District Collector and Magistrate X handle posted.
PTI reported blackout in Rajasthan's Sri Ganganagar as well, however it does not mention whether the blackout is precautionary or otherwise. More details are awaited.
Sirens were also heard in Hoshiarpur, followed by blackout, as per PTI.
Saturday's Ceasefire
After the ceasefire announcement on Saturday evening by officials in India and Pakistan, India's Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri convened an emergency briefing and stated that Pakistan had "violated the understanding agreed to this evening."
On Sunday evening, India라이브 바카라 Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai convened a media briefing on Operation Sindoor .
The DGMO said that after his conversation with Pakistan DGMO on May 10, a cessation of cross-border firing and air intrusions by either side was put in place from 5:00 PM yesterday.
The Pakistan Army later violated the arrangements by cross border and across LoC firing. Drone intrusions were also reported through last night and in the early hours of Sunday.
On Sunday, a hotline message was sent to the Pakistan DGMO that mentioned the violations of the understanding.
The DGMO mentioned that ceasefire understandings take time to manifest on ground and that Indian armed forces remain on high alert.
