The Pakistan Cricket Board라이브 바카라 proposal to stage the remaining Pakistan Super League matches in the United Arab Emirates may face rejection, with the Emirates Cricket Board reportedly “unlikely to approve” the request, citing heightened border tensions between India and Pakistan.
A source within the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) has revealed to PTI that the board is poised to reject the Pakistan Cricket Board라이브 바카라 (PCB) request to host the remaining Pakistan Super League matches in the UAE, despite the PCB's prior announcement of the UAE as the venue.
The source pointed to "security concerns arising from the escalating tension between India and Pakistan" as the main reason behind the decision.
It is understood that recent developments have led the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) to be cautious, fearing that hosting the PSL could be seen as aligning too closely with the PCB, a perception the board wants to avoid.
"In recent years, the Emirates Cricket Board has maintained a strong relationship with the BCCI, having hosted the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 'India' edition, multiple IPL seasons, and India라이브 바카라 matches during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025," the source further said.
"The UAE has a diverse South Asian population which enjoys cricket. Hosting a tournament like the PSL in the midst of such tense circumstances could vitiate harmony, pose security risks and stir unnecessary friction between communities," the source said.
Dubai is also the headquarter of the International Cricket Council, which is currently headed by former BCCI secretary Jay Shah.
The PCB said early this morning that the last eight PSL fixtures, which were previously scheduled in Rawalpindi, Multan and Lahore, will now be staged in the UAE.
Schedule of matches, outlining the dates and venues, will be shared in due course, a statement said.
On Thursday, the PCB called off a scheduled match between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings at the Rawalpindi stadium.
The Indian Army on Wednesday destroyed nine terror hideouts belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir under 'Operation Sindoor'.
The operation is a response to the terror attack in Pahalgam last month, which resulted in the deaths of 26 civilians.
