Former ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion knows firsthand about the devastating impact of suicide.

Renowned for his electrifying style of combat, the Brazilian superstar is currently carrying a heavy heart following the recent loss of a training partner.

Lineker spoke to about the situation, sharing his thoughts on mental health and offering a message of hope to those struggling.

He was deeply affected by the news of his young teammate라이브 바카라 suicide, which brought back painful memories from his own past:

“I was at home, and the one who gave me the news was my master because he had heard about it through the boy라이브 바카라 parents. At that moment, I had a blank and asked, ‘What do you mean, master?’

“Then he told me that he had hanged himself, and I was shocked. He was a boy we liked a lot. Besides being a training partner, he was an excellent friend who liked to train happily.”

Sadly, this wasn’t the first time Lineker라이브 바카라 life has been touched by suicide. The loss of a close relative two decades ago caused a deep wound that continues to hurt to this day.

The 34-year-old said:

“The most tragic that I’ve felt was with my uncle. My uncle also committed suicide by hanging himself. At the time, I was about 13 or 14 years old. It was a great shock for me, especially considering my age. I didn’t understand the situation. This was something that marked my life. It was very complicated.”

“Hands of Stone” acknowledged the difficulty in comprehending why people take their own lives, particularly young athletes who seem to have the world at their fingertips.

Everything on the outside might seem fine or even perfect, but on the inside, those people are struggling mightily.

Lineker added:

“It certainly affects a lot of people, especially those of us who are athletes. It라이브 바카라 hard to understand because sports are like an escape valve for us. So it라이브 바카라 unbelievable when something like this happens. I’m at a loss for words to describe this type of situation that happens to young people.”

Lineker Finds Hope Through Faith And Connection

Now well-aware of the profound hurt that suicide leaves behind, John Lineker wouldn’t wish that type of pain on anybody.

A proud Christian, he hopes that those struggling with mental health or suicidal thoughts are able to turn to their faith in times of need:

“The message I can leave for people who suffer from depression and anxiety is to seek Jesus, to get closer to Jesus, because he is the only way, the only truth, and the only life.

“This is the advice I can give people. Seek Jesus, because he is the one who will give us strength in difficult times. He is the one who will lift us up when we fall.”

Lineker also emphasized the importance of reaching out and seeking help during dark times. Isolation, he said, can only worsen mental health.

With that in mind, he encouraged those battling mental health issues to open up rather than suffering in silence:

“People need to stop wanting to carry the burden alone. People need to share their burden because we really can’t do it alone. So, if you have something inside you that you can’t bear anymore, share it with someone, look for someone who can listen to you, someone who can help you. Don’t keep all the burden to yourself. Share that burden so that it becomes lighter.”
