The second edition of the Den Den Sea Swimming Championship is set to take place at the Mangalore Surf Club Beach on Sunday, 26th January, with over 200 swimmers from across India participating. (More Sports News)
The event, organized by the Mangalore Surf Club, will feature five categories ranging from 250 meters to 6 km, catering to a variety of age groups and skill levels.
The championship라이브 바카라 unique feature is the race around the sunken Den Den vessel, which has been an iconic landmark since it sank in 2007. The competition attracts both experienced athletes and newcomers, providing swimmers with the chance to participate in open-water racing in Mangalore라이브 바카라 coastal conditions.
This year라이브 바카라 championship has attracted 214 swimmers, double the number of participants from last year, with competitors coming from states such as Delhi, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Goa.
Categories include 500 meters for swimmers aged 10-11, 1.5 km for those aged 12-14, and 1.5 km, 3 km, and the newly introduced 6 km categories for adult swimmers (18+). Each swimmer can participate in only one category.
Chirag Shambu, President of the Mangalore Surf Club, expressed excitement about the increased participation, saying, "We’re pleased with the response this year, and it라이브 바카라 a sign of the growing interest in open-water sports. We also appreciate the support from the Indian Coast Guard and our corporate partners."
Rishabh Shetty, Contest Director for Den Den 2.0, emphasized the importance of safety, noting that over 20 lifeguards and additional support from speedboats and surf-boats will ensure the safety of all participants.
