The much-awaited FIDE Women's Grand Prix Series 2025 will get underway from May 6, 2025 and includes a 10-player single round-robin match. There will be a 90-minutes time control for the first 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the remaining game. (More Sports News)
Players participating at the event will earn Grand Prix points as per their final standings at the event.
The winner of the FIDE Women's Grand Prix Series will earn €80,000 prize fund. The two players with the most number of Grand Prix points at the end of the six-event series gets a ticket to the next Women's Candidates Tournament.
The FIDE Women's Grand Prix Series will take place at the G'Schlossl Murtal in Grosslobming, Austria.
