McLaren Mercedes driver George Russell has said that he won't change his approach towards current world champion Max Verstappen following a feud last season.

Minutes before the Champions Trophy match between Pakistan and New Zealand gets underway in Karachi, there is news of gunmen attacking a Lahore-bound bus in the Balochistan province. The unknown armed men have killed seven passengers in Barkhan, a district of southwestern Balochistan. The group of around 40 armed men stopped multiple buses and vehicles, checking national identity cards before forcing the seven passengers off the bus and shooting them, a Reuters report quoted deputy commissioner Waqar Khurshid Alam, a senior administrative official, as saying.

Australia left-arm spinner Matt Kuhnemann will reportedly get to know the decision on his suspect bowling action by the end of next week, after being put through rigorous tests in Brisbane. An Australian Associated Press report stated that the 28-year-old was put through his paces during a session that lasted more than one hour, asked to bowl at a similar speed and with similar revolutions to what he did in Galle when his action was deemed to be suspect.

In the I-League, Srinidi Deccan scored a 2-1 victory over Rajasthan United. Orelian and Castaneda scored on either sides of the break for Deccan. Rajasthan did pull one back in the second half but Deccan managed to hold on to their lead.

Dempo and Shillong Lajong play out a 2-2 draw in the I-League. Dempo took the lead before half-time only for the scores to be levelled after the break. They once again took lead but Lajong found an equaliser late in the injury time to eke out a draw.
