Chhattisgarh Goes To Polls, Voting Underway On 20 Seats

Voting is underway on 20 seats in the Chhattisgarh assembly elections on Tuesday (November 7). Of the 20 seats, 12 are in the Maoist-affected Bastar division. Around 60,000 security personnel, including counter-Maoist commandoes, have been deployed. The remaining 70 seats would go to polls on November 17. The counting of votes would take place on December 3.
