External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, speaking on May 4, 2025, stressed that India seeks meaningful partnerships based on shared interests, not lectures from other nations — a pointed message aimed at Europe amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.
At the Arctic Circle India Forum, Jaishankar explained India라이브 바카라 position of “Russia realism,” highlighting the strong fit between Russia라이브 바카라 role as a resource supplier and India라이브 바카라 needs as a major consumer. He defended India라이브 바카라 engagement with Moscow, including continued purchases of Russian oil, saying these decisions are guided by national interests despite Western criticism.
Jaishankar criticized Western efforts to resolve the Ukraine conflict without Russia라이브 바카라 involvement, calling such strategies unrealistic. “Engagement is essential; solutions can’t be imposed by excluding key players,” he said.
He also spoke about the importance of “America realism,” emphasizing that India라이브 바카라 engagement with the U.S. should focus on areas of mutual benefit, not ideological disagreements.
On Europe, Jaishankar noted that some countries are undergoing a “reality check” but need to move past preaching and instead foster partnerships built on sensitivity, understanding, and mutual respect.
“We look for partners, not preachers especially not those who preach abroad but don’t practice the same at home,” Jaishankar remarked.
