US President Donald Trump announced an aerospace agreement between Qatar Airways and Boeing, claiming the $200 billion deal includes the purchase of 160 aircraft — marking what he described as the "largest order of jets in Boeing라이브 바카라 history."
As per Reuters, the announcement came during Trump라이브 바카라 visit to Doha on the second leg of his four-day tour of the Middle East. The former president and Qatar라이브 바카라 Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani were present at the signing ceremony, which took place on Wednesday.
Qatar Airways CEO Badr Mohammed Al-Meer and Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg signed the agreement in the presence of both leaders, Reuters reported.
"It's over $200 billion, but 160 in terms of the jets — that's fantastic. So that's a record, Kelly, and congratulations to Boeing," Trump said during the ceremony. "Get those planes out there, get them out there."
The details of the aircraft models included in the agreement were not disclosed, and it remains unclear whether the orders are firm — which would involve deposits and binding contractual terms — or if they are non-binding options.
Although Boeing no longer publishes list prices for its jets, aviation analysts suggest that even the most expensive models, such as the long-range 777X, would bring the total value of 160 aircraft to approximately $70 billion based on earlier catalogue pricing. However, large bulk deals typically involve significant discounts, meaning the actual value may be substantially lower than the announced figure.
The Boeing agreement follows a string of business deals Trump unveiled in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, underscoring his continued emphasis on securing U.S. commercial interests abroad.
The Qatar deal signals a strong show of economic cooperation between the U.S. and Gulf states, though industry experts are awaiting further clarification on the specifics and enforceability of the agreement.
