After winning the toss, SRH captain Pat Cummins elected to bowl against DC, knowing that a win could their playoffs hopes alive. An inspire bowling performance from the skipper saw SRH restrict DC to 133/7 in 20 overs.
Tristan Stubbs top-scored for the Capitals with 41 not out. Before SRH could even come out to bat, the rain gods intervened and halted play.
However, SRH and DC must win today's fixture to keep their playoff hopes alive but a washout would be detrimental to the SRH side.

DC have faltered off-late despite a solid start to the season. They have won five of their first six matches but their recent slide in form has seen them slip to fifth place in the IPL 2025 points table. A win today could boost their chances.
